Needing a camp cook, Tobermorey Station, NT to join our crew of approx 15 staff (5-6 weeks) commencing 27/6/25. Camp is 100 kms from main homestead. Tobermorey is 280 kms SW Mt Isa
Early morning starts. Not all camp cooking, there is an air conditioned stainless kitchen with all the mod cons, including large coldroom. Campfire cooking optional, BBQ's are a favourite.
As stockmen & stock women, we live in comfortable dongas, & enjoy a beer or two in the afternoons. A donkey needs to be lit to heat water for the showers, but there are flushing toilets.
Along with cooking hot breakfasts, & hearty dinner, smokos & lunch are packed by the staff & taken with them for the day. You will do the washing for the ringers (washing machine) which they really appreciate, as their days can be long & busy.
This unique outback cook opportunity is an experience always enjoyed by our cooks. It would suit a couple or just 1 person. Own caravan be great but accommodation would be provided.
