“Reception Grounds and Allrounders”.

“Live rent free, and reside at one of the most spectacular locations on Australia’s Southern Coast”. Streaky Bay Eyre Peninsula!

We are looking for enthusiastic “All Rounders” for the “Streaky Bay Islands Caravan Park” located in South Australia. The successful applicants will need to commit to staying at least to the end of our busy season being 4-5 months.

Previous Park experience is preferred. This position could become long term for right applicants.

The position offered is for a fit, agile and capable couple, to work two - and one-half days per week in reception, also including the day-to-day general caravan park duties on those days. (Computer skills are essential for both applicants as they both will need to be able to work in the office reception as required when needed). An RSA certificate will be needed for office liquor sales. (We can assist if needed).

Villas and amenities cleaning work is also a requirement as part of the position offered to both applicants. General grounds duties are also part of the working week.

These cleaning days are for approx. 2-4 hour each per day for three days of each week. As we employ cleaners, your involvement will vary throughout the year. You will need to be flexible.

This position is casual.

Both applicants will need to be able to work in reception, possess excellent computer and people skills, and be able to work as a team.

We offer a minimum of 30 hours per week per person (increasing as needed for the high season) and pays the casual Fair Work Award Rates, plus superannuation. Penalty rates apply for all weekends and public holidays. Current Monday to Friday award rates for this position is $33.38 per hour plus Penalty rates.

You will be expected to live onsite (an ensuite site for your van is included in the package though you will be required to be on call for your 2 and a half rostered “assistants to the managers days” on as part of the package offered).

Reception hours are 8.30am to 5.30 pm.

Training can be provided if required for the right applicants.

The applicants will be required to supply their own caravan, though we may be able to supply an onsite van if needed. As part of the package offered, ensuite accommodation is provided to you at no charge. (An energy fee contribution of $20.00 each per week is required)
