Description
A position is available for a caretaker, gardener, or farm hand, envisage the equivalent of two full days of work per week. Hours and duties will be determined based on skills and work ethic. In exchange, accommodation is provided in a new, fully furnished, air-conditioned one-bedroom apartment within a modern shed, including utilities (water, power, internet). Couples are welcome. Applicants with their own van or tiny home can be accommodated by arrangement.
The property employs regenerative farming practices and is undergoing continual improvement. A modern fleet of equipment is available to support efficient work. Additional paid hours can be negotiated for work beyond the agreed exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and enhancement of gardens surrounding the house, driveway, and camping areas
- Assisting with the establishment of syntropic gardens
- Depending on skills, additional paid roles may include fencing, cattle work, garden irrigation, and pasture improvement
The property is located in Coondoo, a quiet, scenic area, 30–35 minutes from Gympie, Tewantin, and Pomona. Please note there is no public transport or local shops.
