Description
Are you interested in history and camping at a "Heritage Precinct' which is only 30 kilometres from Geraldton WA, in the small township of Nanson in the Shire of Chapman Valley.
The Chapman Valley Historical Society is looking for a couple with a fully self-contained RV, who are willing to provide voluntary service to the Society, whilst enjoying a visit to the picturesque Chapman Valley area. Parking on site at the Heritage Centre is available and we would like the couple to act as hosts and open the Museum for four hours, four days of the week (Tues, Thurs, Fri & Sat). Is this something you would like to do for the month of July. Volunteers from the Society open the Museum on the other 2 days of the week and it is closed on a Monday.
Explore the beautiful Chapman Valley area, the City of Geraldton, the historic township of Northampton or head to the coast for a bit of fishing. Our past volunteer grey nomads have loved it so much they are returning to us during the months of May/June/August & September in 2026.
