Caravan Park cleaner or cleaners’ position’s available

The Streaky Bay Islands Caravan Park is a 120-site park, located at 101 Little Islands Road Streaky Bay South Australia.

Sited 60 metres from the beach, the park comprises a range of tourist facilities and accommodation; including 9 villas, 6 ensuite caravan amenities, 120 caravan and camping sites, swimming pool, 3 BBQ’s, 2 ablution blocks, laundry facilities, camp kitchen, fish cleaning, boat and car washdown, a recreation buildings, children’s playground and the manager’s residence.

The employee’s classification shall be as park cleaners.

Basis casual rate $ 32.31 per hour Monday to Friday.

Standard loadings apply to weekends and public holidays per person.

(plus, superannuation paid at months end).

The position offered is for a minimum of 3+ months. Experience preferred but not essential.

Must be fit and agile, flexible and able to work in a team.

The position includes a powered site for your caravan. (we do have an onsite van if required at no charge). We supply park polo shirts.

We offer you a minimum of 15 - 20 hours a week each with our expectation to reach 25 or more hours per week in the busier months. There will be an energy fee to cover the utilities costs of $20.00 per person per week.

Villa services may need an afternoon shift as well.

This may increase as we get busier.

The Cleaners role will involve all cleaning activities undertaken at the park This will include cleaning of the amenity’s blocks, camp kitchen, park laundry, recreation room, and villas including the villas laundry as required.

The position offered is not suitable for you to qualify for the 88-day Visa application, as you need a minimum of 6 hours per day to make it count.
