COOK - RICE LAGOON OUTSTATION

Georgina Pastoral Company is accepting applications for a Station Cook based at Rice Lagoon Outstation, NW QLD.

This role is seasonal, starting April 2026 and ending November 2026.

Rice Lagoon Outstation is part of Miranda Downs Station in the heart of northwest Queensland’s Gulf Country, located approximately 105 klm’s NNE of Normanton. Miranda Downs Station is about 450,000 hectares in size and runs commercial Brahman and Purebred Wagyu breeder cattle.

 About the Station Cook Role 

The Station Cook role includes:

• providing healthy home-style meals for 10-15 people daily
• maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen, dining area, cold room and butcher shop

This job requires:

• Cooking experience and exposure to beef cuts or willingness to learn
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to live remotely
