We’re a young family heading away for our first Christmas together and are looking for a reliable, caring house sitter (single, couple, or small family) to enjoy our peaceful home just outside Inverell while we’re away.

Our renovated farmhouse sits on acreage with tranquil gardens and shady trees — a private country escape with all the modern comforts.

About the home:

• 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms

• Air conditioning in every room

• Spacious open-plan living with wood fire, Netflix, fast Starlink internet, and coffee machine

• Modern kitchen with plenty of space for cooking and entertaining

• Verandas on three sides, plus a screened outdoor area and fire pit

• Small in-ground saltwater/chlorine pool – perfect for a summer dip

• Shady garden alive with birdsong (resident king parrots)

• Fully fenced house yard, solar power, undercover parking, and ride-on zero-turn mower

Only 7km from Inverell’s main street – an easy drive to great cafes, boutique shops, and supermarkets. Plus, you’ll be perfectly positioned to explore the region’s local gems:

• Copeton Dam – famous for fishing, and boating

• Lake Inverell – ideal for kayaking and trail walks

• Inverell Golf course - great course for the avid golfer

• Sapphire fossicking – try your luck in the “Sapphire City” itself

What we ask:
Our garden is low-maintenance but loves a little attention — a light water every few days (depending on weather) using the sprinklers is usually enough. The pool is easy-care and just needs a quick check now and then.
