Electrician

We are recruiting Electricians on behalf the Queensland Government’s leading provider of building and construction services.

Role: Electrician

Rate: $47.30/hr + Allowances

Location: Based in Molendinar Gold Coast

Duration: Initial 2-month contract, with potential for extension

Mandatory Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (minimum of Electrical Mechanic)
• Electrical trade certificate/qualification (minimum of Certificate III Electrotechnology)
• Current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and low voltage rescue certificate
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Current, valid Queensland "C" class driver’s licence or equivalent
• Working knowledge and compliance with current work health, safety and environmental legislation and codes of practice including knowledge and understanding of AS/NZ3000 (The Wiring Rules), Electrical Safety Act 2002, Electrical Safety Regulations 2013, and applicable Electrical Codes of Practice 2013

Additional requirements:

• Additionally- Working at heights (WAH) and any other trade specific qualifications are advantageous
• Data Cabling licence – desirable, not mandatory

• Delivering service maintenance
• Completing electrical component of minor works and projects
