FARM CARETAKER

We are seeking an active retired or semi-retired couple for a long-term farm caretaker,  we are asking for a minimum of 12 months.

Two bedroom furnished farm cottage overlooking the ocean on a poultry farm located 23 km south of Kalbarri.

Light duties (approx. 1 hour per day) in exchange for accommodation, water and power.

Paid work may be available on the farm in our team, especially if you have experience in machinery and general farm maintenance.

Sorry no pets and non-smokers preferred.

Duties include:

• Living on the farm
• Farm security – monitoring after hours movements and locking the front date each night after hours
• Make sure all chickens are out of the range area and safely secured in the sheds and that sheds are securely locked every night
• Check all the lights are off at a specified time each night
• Report any after- hours issues to the farm manager
