Feedlot Overseer/Feed Man

Kilto Station is looking for someone to help oversee our Feedlot, based 65kms from Broome.

We are a family owned and operated business, we do everything from breed cattle on our stations along the Gibb River Road, irrigate 8 centre pivots (Rhodes grass mainly), feedlot our export and abattoir cattle, slaughter and process in our onsite abattoir for our beef retail shop in Broome, The Station Store.

Ideally, we are looking for an "old cockie" to join our small team at Kilto and fill the gaps when the stock camp are working away up the Gibb. Between now and November.

Duties include

• Daily feeding out of hay and pellet ration
• Daily checks of cattle health and wellbing
• Maintenance and upkeep of machinery
• Lending a hand to irrigation manager when needed (tractor driving, mowing, baling, ploughing, slashing)
• Point of contact for yards, inbound trucks etc.
