KEEROONGOOLOO STATION – Georgina Pastoral Company

Georgina Pastoral Company is accepting applications for a full-time Plant Operator at Keeroongooloo Station, in the Channel Country, to start in March/April 2026.

Keeroongooloo Station is located between Quilpie and Windorah in Central West QLD. Keeroongooloo is about 573,000ha in size and runs approx. 15000 head of commercial and wagyu cattle.

Plant Operator Role (Grader/Loader/Excavator)

What’s involved:

• The Grader Operator role includes maintaining and building station roads, grading fire breaks, and clearing and preparing poly lines.
• The Loader Operator role includes opening creek and river crossings, maintaining poly lines, fence lines and roads, cleaning and repairing turkey nests and dams, and assisting with rural earth works e.g. fire breaks and erosion control.

What’s needed:

• Prior experience required
• Mechanical experience advantageous
• Truck driving experience advantageous
• Ability to live & work remotely
