Handyman for North West Queenland Cattle Property 2026

We're looking for a responsible couple to help out with general station duties from Mid-March until June (or longer) if it suits.

We are 100km north of Julia Creek. Mostly sealed road with only 30 km dirt.

Work can include and not limited to:

Welding, pruning, mowing, cleaning, gardening, some tractor work, fence repairs, poisoning, poly pipe repairs and other day to day general station duties.

If you’d like to be involved in mustering, you must be able to ride a 2-wheel motorbike.
Some cooking for 2 – 3 people during the mustering for 4 weeks, for your partner is also included.

Sometimes we go away for a few days and during those times, you would also be responsible for looking after the gardens and lawns.

Wages paid on hourly basis with an ABN on your invoice.

(We also welcome caravans/mobile homes)

Small pets ok

We have a large dam/swimming pool

There is a mail service on Tuesdays and Fridays which can deliver groceries from town
