Harvest Cook

We are a family owned and operated farming enterprise looking for one or two people to prepare meals for our team over harvest.

The job entails cooking dinner for 20-35 people each night over approximately a 4 week period starting in mid October. The job may also include trips to town to replenish food supplies and some lunch prep may also be required.

The property is located in south western QLD 60km northwest of Goodooga and 145km northwest of Lightning Ridge. Access to the property is via a gravel road that is easily accessible for 4wd cars and caravans and when dry accessible by 2wd vehicles.

Large near new kitchen to work in that is well stocked with cooking supplies and includes a cool room. Laundry, toilet facilities, mobile reception and wifi are all provided and airconditioned accommodation can also be provided if necessary. Power and water to hook up to a caravan is also available. Generous remuneration to be negoatiated with successful applicant/s.

When not working you are welcome to experience harvest life and go for a ride on headers, chaser bins etc. Plenty of harvest work around if you would like to pick up more hours. On going farm work is also available to suitable applicant/s.
