Start Date: Mid October. 4-6weeks work.

Our client is a family run dryland cropping farm 50kms north of Wee Waa, NSW. Harvesting in a small crew approximately 2500ha of wheat, barley, faba beans and chick peas.

Positions
1 x Chaser Bin Driver
1 x Harvest Cook

Duties may include:

• Operation of a 230hp John Deere tractor and 30t Coolamon chaser bin for harvest from mid October to late November
• Adherence to health & safety protocols and procedures
• Morning pre-start servicing
• Harvest Cook to prepare sandwiches and cook evening meals for a small team of approx. 6-8ppl. Some general household cleaning and tidying. Occassional run to town for groceries and parts, and pilot vehicle driving when moving machinery.

Requirements:

• Previous harvest and chaser bin operating experience
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Maturity, common sense and good communication skills
• Ability to take instruction and gel within a small crew.

Benefits
$35+p/h and all meals + on farm basic accommodation is available in the old homestead. However, a caravan is probably preferable, and could be parked on site and water and power can be hooked up.

Start date expected to be about October 15th. Harvest likely to be 4-6weeks.

Grey nomad couples have suited the positions in previous years, but all applications will be considered.
