Homestead Caretaker

Caretaker Position Available 

Bollon 4488 SW Qld Exchange.

Early September -October 20th ( 6 weeks)

We seek a fit, active, honest and reliable couple to caretake our homestead in SW Qld (100kms SW of Bollon) while we come and go.

Dates and timeframe are flexible.

We need someone to care for our home and garden, working dogs and chickens and in return we offer free electricity, water, landline phone, internet, yummy lamb meat, and fresh farm eggs. Own van required with access to bathroom and laundry facilities in a basic cottage.

With beautiful hot artesian water bore at the homestead you can spend your days soaking in it while watching beautiful birds come and go, finish your day with a hearty lamb chop while you hang with the dogs and enjoy the simple pleasure you only really get in the bush!

Main roles are tending to a basic garden and looking after the animals. We are looking for a couple who enjoy the peace and quiet, Must Love Dogs, enjoys gardening and enjoys the tranquility you get if living a little remote.  This position would suit a retired couple who are full-time on the road and looking to park up for a while and relax.
