Description
We are looking for house sitters from late August to early November 2025, start and end date are flexible for us.
We live on a small rural property 15 minutes from Rockhampton QLD. We prefer a couple with own accommodation.
We only ask that you look after the lawns with watering moving ect, watering system is in place to help and ride on mover is provided for lawn maintenance. The in ground pool only need to be checked and filled with water when required as pool maintenance is done by local pool company fortnightly. Bore water is used for lawns and pool, electric submersible pump used. We do not have any animals that need looking after.
A nice lawn area is provided for you to park up with power and tank water, access to broadband internet, pool, laundry and toilet. We do accept sitters with pets.
The Central Qld area has lots to offer with beaches only 40 minutes away, the Capricorn Caves just north of us, up the hill is Mt Morgan and old gold mining town with several great museums to explore. If you are into lawn bowls there are several clubs in the Rockhampton area, with carpet and grass greens. Rockhampton is well supported with shops, health services, sporting venues, restaurants and a great theatre which usually has a show on monthly. There is always something happening in and around Rockhampton.
