Blue Lake Milling, a premium oat and cereal grain manufacturer, is on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support our Incoming Grains team during the 2025/2026 harvest season • Starting Mid-October. Whether you're looking to gain experience in the agricultural industry or simply enjoy working outdoors as part of a supportive team or looking for summer work away from your studies - this could be the perfect role for you!
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Incoming Grains Supervisor, your responsibilities may include:
• Ensuring safe work practices and supporting a positive safety culture.
• Sampling and testing incoming grain to meet quality standards.
• Accurately completing documentation and records.
• Communicating clearly with growers and transport drivers.
• Maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Operating machinery such as tractor auger combos and tubulators (if trained/licensed)

• Comfortable using basic computer systems and willing to learn industry software.

• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willing to undertake any training required for the role.
Bonus points if you have:
• A current forklift licence
• Experience using farm machinery
