Rock Ridge Farming is seeking a caring and community-minded on site Accommodation & Welfare Caretaker to support the wellbeing of PALM Scheme workers living onsite. Rock Ridge Farming currently employs workers from Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Samoa under the PALM Scheme.
This role is primarily focused on worker welfare, support, and pastoral care, helping create a safe, respectful, and culturally supportive living environment. Paid work is available for one person, with a couple welcome to reside onsite.
What’s on offer:
5pm to 8pm & adhoc hours as required on a Casual basis.

Onsite accommodation suitable for a single person or couple is available.
After-hours support for urgent welfare matters.

Key focus areas:
• Supporting worker welfare and wellbeing
• Assisting with appointments, services, and arrivals/departures (including occasional late-night or early morning departures & arrivals).
• Helping workers understand accommodation expectations respectfully
• Working with management to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment

About you:
• Supportive, approachable, and culturally respectful
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and show good judgement
• Driver’s licence required and comfortable driving a Hiace Van with a luggage trailer when required.

• Experience in welfare or community roles is a plus, but not essential)
