Description
We are looking for a assistant-Caretaker (s) for the Bruthen Caravan Park, situated on the banks of the Tambo River.
The Caravan Park is a non-profit community-based park. The Park size is a very manageable & relaxed 24 powered & 10 general camping sites. One amenities block including laundry exists along with a quaint bush hut kitchen area, and a large open fire place (wood provided). It is an easy 6–7-minute walk to the nearest hotel and township. Football, cricket, netball, and tennis courts are on your doorstep along with the famed Rail Trail.
The Committee of Management (CoM) is looking for a suitable single/couple to conduct shared Caretaker duties for the Park. The position would be on a job share 2 days per week basis (about 9am-6pm). Duties include (not limited to):
-working as part of a caretaker team;
-managing bookings and payments;
-conduct general gardening / mowing services (all equipment/fuel provided);
-clean and maintain amenities; and
-liaise with Committee of Management.
Term: The Committee are looking for short term appointments (4-6 months) (early to mid-June {or prior}); and if suitable length of tenure can be extended.
In return for two days of caretaking you will receive
-free site fees & utilities,
-mobile phone & tablet (both capped) (when on duty)

In addition, if one of the other caretaking team takes holidays or has days off there is an opportunity for additional work per week (daily allowance provided for any extra day/s worked).
