About Us
Seven Elements is shaping a restorative, therapeutic space nestled in the stunning foothills of Mbantua. We’re restoring the natural landscape—tackling invasive buffel grass. With vibrant local art, music, camping, and outdoor recreation on our doorstep, our community celebrates creativity and connection.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and adaptable caretaker or couple with a hands-on, can-do spirit. Your role: drive, build, fix, clean, maintain, and regenerate—bringing passion, autonomy, and practical skill to everything you touch.
What You’ll Do

Maintain and repair facilities, grounds, and shared facilities—handyman tasks, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, painting

Support land regeneration: Working and guiding volunteers sourced through WWOOF Australia, removing buffel grass, planting natives, improving fire mitigation

Clean and maintain accommodation spaces and vehicles between guest or staff use (light, routine cleaning)

Manage irrigation, garden beds, fences, general upkeep of landscapes and communal spaces

Take initiative with maintenance schedules, cleaning routines, tools, and supplies

Work largely unsupervised, with flexible check-ins with leadership
What We’re Looking For

A self-reliant doer—skilled, pragmatic, energetic, and resourceful

Flexible collaborative duo or solo adventurer who can live and thrive onsite

Valid clearances: Working With Children NT, National Police Check probity or equivalent

Driver’s licence and ability to handle rural terrain and tools

Experience in: general maintenance, gardening, basic vehicle upkeep, and light cleaning

Comfortable engaging with our wider creative community and guests
