Stopover on the banks of the Dawson River in Central Queensland.  Park up in a beautiful riverside location, on a hill or beside staff quarters with access to power — whichever suits your set-up.

“Gyranda” is a 9,500-hectare, family-owned Santa Gertrudis cattle stud located 45km south of Theodore. You’ll be joining a friendly, capable on-property team of full-time staff and seasonal crew who reside on the property.

We’re seeking an experienced mechanic for a 1–6 month stay (timing flexible), assisting with routine repairs and maintenance across a broad range of machinery.

The role includes:

• General servicing and maintenance – small motors through to dozers
• Pumps, motorbikes, side-by-sides, work vehicles, trucks and tractors
• Welding, electrical or additional trade skills highly valued
• Varied, practical work — no major backlog, as we’ve had seasonal mechanical support for the past decade
